The Kennett Pike, Route 52 in Kennett Township, PA, is a portion of the Brandywine Valley Scenic Byway that connects from the area of Longwood Gardens to Wilmington, Delaware. As consultants to Kennett Township, TCA help to develop the Kennett Pike Greenway Plan, which features a diverse mix of native deciduous trees, evergreen trees, and shrubs, for planting along the rights-of-way. Over the coming months, TCA will be working closely with Township Officials and Staff and individual Property Owners to establish “right plant-right place” in a manner that will provide low-maintenance enhancement of this historic corridor.
