Faced with the fastest growth in Pennsylvania in the 1990’s, Cranberry Township sought to direct development in a logical, sustainable, and fiscally responsible manner while creating unique communities that would be both functional and inviting. TCA assisted the Township to establish four TND zoning districts intended to facilitate a variety of residential, commercial, and mixed-use neighborhoods that will meet the Township’s desire for quality urban design. More than 40 such design elements are demonstrated in the TCA authored Manual of Written and Graphic Design Guidelines.
