IN 2001, TCA authored a Form-Based Code for the Borough intended to promote new development and redevelopment in keeping with the Borough’s traditional town character. Graphic design guidelines demonstrate how development should “fit” within the existing street. alley and block network, by emulating existing building locations, building and lot types, street widths, and streetscape features. Through these Zoning and Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance Amendments, the Borough hopes to preserve the heart of it’s charming downtown as a place where one can live, work, shop and play.
