After several years of fragmented revitalization efforts, Catasauqua Borough hired TCA to produce a Revitalization Plan that would create and prioritize a comprehensive strategy for stimulating a vibrant downtown. The Plan included an Updated Vision and Goals statement, a Streetscape Revitalization Plan with Design Guidelines, and an Implementation Strategy, including cost estimates and timeline. Also included were strategies to reduce zoning barriers to economic development, and incentives to creating a diverse business base. Upon adoption, the Borough Manager stated that TCA’s efforts had “far exceeded [his] expectations.”
