As the consulting Town Planners and Landscape Architects for West Chester Borough, TCA assisted the Borough in the redevelopment of a new deck parking structure. As part of the design team, TCA planned the positioning and articulation of the structure to blend seamlessly into the highly visible and centrally located High Street streetscape. In addition to promoting the street wall and now successful ground floor retail uses, TCA specified the sidewalk, street tree and street light program. The parking garage won first place for design by the International Parking Institute in 2001 and the President’s Award for Best Aesthetics in Facility Design.
